Abstract

There are concepts which own a significant position in Islam, but what are expressed on them do not indicate their greatness. Taarob after Alhijra, one of the mortal sins is from this category of concepts. It literally means moving from city (the place of Hijrat) to desert and there are many specific commentaries about it. In order to clarify the state of being taboo (prohibited) about this mortal sin, we present it through Razavi's tradition (Hadith) and we find out that there are many precious points said by Imam Reza (a.s) concerning this issue which can be considered the synonym of political- social indifference. The article tries to illustrate the precise meaning of this term considering the narrated traditions, the evolution of Hijrat and Taarob, the duties and rights which all immigrants and Arabs have and in order to perceive the term, it is inspired by Imam Reza's speeches which he states the heresy from religion, giving up supporting the holy prophet and imams, the reason for the philosophy of its being taboo (prohibited) and he considers corruption and revocation of rights as its consequence which demonstrates the greatness of this sin and its ignored precise meaning.
