The realization and development of this idea has faced many challenges and obstacles. </strong> <br /><strong>The main obstacle to the realization of this idea is the lack of a strategic model based on Shi'a-Islamic teachings, and thereby to identify the damages and overcome the existing challenges. By reviewing the Islamic teachings and the traditions of the infallible Imams (as), it is clear that the best example of the proper holding of freethinking seats is the exclusive debates of Imam Riḍā (as) with the elders of religions. For this purpose, this study based on descriptive-analytic and using the historical and narrative books, seeks to recognize the challenges facing freethinking seats to provide</strong> <strong>their dynamics and prosperity, focusing on the debates of Imam Riḍā (as) and analysis of its components.</strong> کرسی‌های آزاداندیشی به‎عنوان فرایندی مبتنی بر عقلانیت و به‎کارگیری خردجمعی در جهت تحقق‎بخشیدن به جنبش نرم‎افزاری و توسعة همه‎جانبة کشور، همواره مورد توجه بسیاری از اندیشمندان و متفکران بوده و جزء یکی از واژگان پربسامد در گفت‎وگوهای علمی و سیاسی جامعة کنونی ایران است. تحقق و شکوفایی این ایده با چالش‌ها و موانع بسیاری مواجه گشته است. عمده‎ترین مانع بر سرِ راهِ تحقق این ایده، نبود الگویی راهبردی مبتنی بر آموزه‌های اسلامی‎ ـ‎ شیعی است تا به‎واسطة آن، آسیب‌ها شناسایی و چالش‌های موجود برطرف گردد. با بررسی آموزه‎های اسلامی و سیره ائمه معصومین (علیهم‎السلام) مشخص می‎شود که بهترین الگو در زمینه برگزاری مطلوب کرسی‌های آزاداندیشی، مناظره‌های منحصربه‎فرد امام رضا (علیه‎‎السلام) با بزرگان ادیان و مذاهب است. بدین‎منظور، پژوهش حاضر به روشِ توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استناد به کتاب‎های تاریخی و روایی سعی دارد با محوریت مناظره‌های امام رضا (علیه‎السلام) و بررسی و تحلیل مؤلفه‌های آن، چالش‌های پیش روی کرسی‌های آزاداندیشی را آسیب‎شناسی کند و زمینه پویایی و شکوفایی هر چه بیشتر آنها را فراهم آورد. http://www.farhangerazavi.ir/article_91401_891a369f0446e374c461d9148b5404c2.pdf
