Statistical Analysis of the research indicates that historic landmarks like Qadamgah, holy places and inns, caravanserai and cisterns on the route is considered the most significant strong point and shortage of medical health facilities is the most significant weak point, very high capacity of the Route (Mashhad) is considered major opportunity and lack of strategic plan for attraction of foreign tourists is considered as a most significant threat for reviving the route. SWOT analysis shows that planning for national registration and then world record of the Velayat road, creating systematic mechanism to facilitate the travel and to reduce concerns of the tourists, and aligning the officials with the people of the region could be appropriate strategies for revivaling of the Velayat Road. در این پژوهش به‎منظور تدوین راهبردهای احیای جاده ولایت با هدف توسعه فرهنگ زیارت، نقاط قوّت و ضعف و فرصت­ها و تهدید­های مسیر تاریخی هجرت امام‎رضا (علیه ‏السلام)، حد فاصل نیشابور تا رباط طرق مشهد، شناسایی شده است. جامعه آماری پژوهش، فعالان حوزه گردشگری مذهبی استان خراسان رضوی ـ شامل استادان دانشگاه، دانش‎آموختگان رشتۀ گردشگری و کارشناسان سازمان­های مسئول ـ بوده­ اند که 140 نفر آنان به پرسش‎نامه پژوهش پاسخ داده­ اند. تجزیه‎وتحلیل داده­ های پژوهش بیانگر این است که وجود عناصر و نشانه ­های تاریخی نظیر قدمگاه ­ها، امام­زادگان و رباط­ ها، کاروانسراها و آب ­انبارها در طول مسیر به‎عنوان مهم‎ترین قوّت و کمبود تسهیلات بهداشتی، درمانی و خدماتی به‎عنوان مهم‎ترین ضعف، و همچنین ظرفیت بسیار بالای مقصد مسیر (شهر مشهد) به‎عنوان مهم‎ترین فرصت و نبودِ برنامۀ راهبردی و عملیاتی مناسب در جهت جذب گردشگران مذهبی خارجی، مهم‎ترین تهدید احیای این مسیر قلمداد می­ شود. تحلیل SWOT نشان می ­دهد برنامه­ریزی جهت ثبت ملی و متعاقب آن ثبت جهانی مسیر جاده ولایت، ایجاد سازوکارهای نظام ­مند جهت تسهیل سفر و کاهش دغدغه­ های گردشگران مذهبی و همچنین تدوین چشم­انداز احیای جاده ولایت و همسوسازی مسئولان و مردم منطقه با آن، می ­تواند راهبردهای مناسبی برای احیای جاده ولایت باشد. http://www.farhangerazavi.ir/article_70439_ecf1efaa29c3d3d1611d984c7243e314.pdf
