The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the cognitive component of self-control in the words of Imam Riḍā (as) and determine the amount of attention to it. The research method is descriptive-analytical of the type of content analysis, and the unit of analysis is the content of the narration, and the research community is the narrations of Imam Riḍā (as) in the book <em>Musnad al-Riḍā</em>. Findings show that the cognitive component of self-control in the words of Imam Riḍā (as) includes 92 themes of narration and 30% of the total number of <em>Raḍavī</em> narrations. The cognitive component of "self-control" includes knowledge of the areas of self-control, familiarity with the factors that create self-control, familiarity with the effects of self-control and recognizing barriers to self-control. The result is that the cognitive dimension of self-control, in addition to affecting the emotional and behavioral dimension, leads to the growth of awareness and the development of intellectual skills, analysis and thinking in self-control, and ultimately human well-being. خودکنترلی توانایی فرد در کنترل ارادی فرایندهای درونی و برون‌دادهای رفتاری است و معیار سنجش کنترل نفس، انطباق با موازین شرع و آموزه‌های الهی است. هدف از این پژوهش، شناسایی و تحلیل مولفه‌های شناختی خودکنترلی در کلام  امام‌ رضا (ع) و تعیین میزان توجه به آن است. روش تحقیق توصیفی‌تحلیلی از نوع تحلیل محتواست و واحد تحلیل، مضمون روایت و جامعه پژوهش روایات امام رضا (ع) در کتاب مسندالرضا(ع) است. یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می دهد که مولفة شناختی خودکنترلی در کلام امام‌رضا(ع) در بر گیرنده ۹۲ مضمون روایت و ۳۰ درصد از مجموع روایات رضوی است. مؤلفه شناختیِ «خودکنترلی» شامل آگاهی از زمینه­های تحقق خودکنترلی، آشنایی با عوامل ایجاد خودکنترلی، آشنایی با آثار خودکنترلی و شناخت موانع خودکنترلی است. نتیجه آن که بُعد شناختی خود کنترلی علاوه بر تأثیر بر بعد عاطفی و رفتاری به رشد آگاهی­ها و اعتلای مهارت­های عقلانی، تحلیل وتفکر در کنترل نفس و در نهایت سعادت بشر منجر می‌شود.<br /> <br /> <strong> </strong> http://www.farhangerazavi.ir/article_125761_2c9de58a32ed789dfa3472a65cfc6cff.pdf
