Among them, there are imamzadegan to whom more than one court is attributed; among them is Imamzadeh Hoseim ibn Musa ibn Jaʿfar, the brother of Imam Riḍā (as) who, according to some sources, had left for Iran with a group of Sādāt [descendants of an imam] and his another brother, Ahmad, following his brother's guardianship. Among the various sites attributed to him, the two views on his burial in Tabas and Shiraz are more famous. The purpose of this study is to analyze and review the narrations related to the burial of this imamzadeh in Shiraz and in this way, a descriptive-analytical method has been used. Considering that the existing reports go back to the later sources, ie the 14th-14th lunar centuries, and on the other hand, the numerous problems that are observed in them, it is a mistake to consider Hosein ibn Musa among Ahmad ibn Musa's companions and the city of Shiraz as his burial place. از سده‌های نخستین هجری، ایران مقصد شمار فراوانی از امامزادگان بوده است و بارگاه‌های بسیاری در مناطق مختلف این سرزمین به چشم می‌خورد که به ایشان منسوب است. در این میان، امامزادگانی وجود دارند که بیش از یک بارگاه‌ به آنان منسوب است؛ از آن جمله، امامزاده حسین‌بن‌موسی‌بن‌جعفر، برادر امام رضا (ع) است که به ادعای برخی منابع به دنبال ولایت‌عهدی برادرش همراه با گروهی از سادات و دیگر برادرش، احمد، راهی ایران شده بود. در میان جایگاه‌های متعدد منتسب به وی، دو دیدگاه ناظر به دفن او در طبس و شیراز شهرت بیشتری دارد. هدف این پژوهش واکاوی و بازنگری روایات مربوط به دفن این امامزاده در شیراز است و در این راه، از شیوة توصیفی تحلیلی بهره گرفته شده است. با توجه به آنکه گزارش‌های موجود به منابع متأخّر، یعنی سده‌های 8 ـ14 قمری بازمی‌گردد و از سوی دیگر، اشکالات متعددی که در آن‌ها مشاهده می‌شود، خطاست که حسین‌بن‌موسی در شمار همراهان احمدبن‌موسی دانسته و شهر شیراز نیز به عنوان محل دفن او پنداشته شود.
