Abstract Coins, as valuable material objects, possess various cultural functions beyond their economic role. Due to these cultural functions, from the late Qajar period, coins known as Ziyarat-Neshan were minted in Mashhad. Additionally, starting in 1950 CE (1328 SH), Astan Quds Razavi minted Imam Reza (AS) Birth Coins for use in religious ceremonies, which became a cultural symbol. Over time, these birth coins gained diverse functions within this significant endowment and were minted and widely used over three decades. No prior research has explored the functions of Ziyarat-Neshan and Imam Reza (AS) Birth Coins. Thus, this article addresses the key question: What functions did Ziyarat-Neshan and Imam Reza (AS) Birth Coins serve at Astan Quds Razavi? This historical study, conducted through library-based research using Astan Quds Razavi documents and Mashhad-printed newspapers, reveals that the newly minted coins, known as Ziyarat-Neshan in Mashhad and Imam Reza (AS) Birth Coins in Tehran, served multiple functions within this major endowment. They were distributed as gifts to guests on occasions such as Imam Reza’s (AS) birth anniversary, Imam Hussein’s (AS) birth anniversary, and Nowruz. Moreover, they were presented as blessed tokens to notable domestic figures such as athletes, ministers, courtiers, and foreign dignitaries—including presidents, ministers, their entourages, and other prominent pilgrims—participating in the shrine’s dust-clearing ceremonies. Additionally, a significant portion of the Imam Reza (AS) Birth Coins, due to their spiritual significance, were sold as blessed items in the Astan Quds Razavi Museum.

Abstract Believers believe in the guidance of reason and in the explicitness of the Quran and traditions that God has the power to accomplish everything. Their belief has faced a challenge of this kind: does this belief even include impossible things (such as the heavens and the earth and what is between them being swallowed in a seed)? The issuance of which requires the occurrence of things such as the placement of large objects in small objects. At different times, numerous people (Iblis, Abu Shakir Disani, etc.) have asked this question of Jesus Christ, Imam Ali, Imam Sadiq, and Imam Reza (peace be upon them). In one of these narrations, which Ibn Babawayh attributed to Imam Reza (AS) in his book Al-Tawhid, the Imam explicitly gave a positive answer to this question (inherent possibility) and emphasized its occurrence (in the form of an analogy of the reflection of the form of large objects in the eye). The present article seeks to examine this statement and its attribution to Imam Reza (AS) and, in the first step, attempts to examine its chain of transmission and meaning.
In the second step, he shows evidence from the Quran and narrations that confirm it. In the third step, this article highlights the challenges that we will face if we adhere to and accept this narration. (Incompatibility with the obvious rule of reason, conflict with numerous narrations, etc.) and in the last step, it tries to provide an aspect (such as the Imam's response relying on the weakness of the questioner's understanding) for the possibility of accepting this news and the possibility of its issuance by Imam Reza (AS).

Abstract Correct debate and good argument, as a place for ideas to meet, due to the combination of two aspects, positive-affirmative and negative-other, has a direct and deep connection with the identity structure of the individual, group and society, and is able to play an important role in defining the boundaries to play an identity On the other hand, it is necessary to pass from the reductionist approaches to the investigation of the life of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and to review and rewrite it with the aim of knowingly understanding their identity-building life as a model for creating the present and the future in the Islamic society. The mission of this study is to answer the question that Imam Reza's (pbuh) debates, with the aim of reaching the dimensions and identity-building aspects of Imam Reza's (a.s.) debates, were created in the face of the identity threats created by the false front, whose prominent symbol in that era was the Abbasid caliphate. What was its effect and the functions of what it was. Based on this, the functions of the Prophet's debates are divided into three areas: determining, distinguishing and protecting. The maximum monitoring of issues, questions and doubts and the presentation of various evidences and documents from internal and other sources in the debates, not only led to the establishment and determination of the Shiite identity and its distinction from non-identities, but its epistemological resolution guaranteed the identity security for the Shiite discourse.Based on the teachings of religion, it can be used as a strategy for the identification of individuals and societies.

Abstract Abstract
In many cultures, including the Islamic world, people believe that sacred places are the meeting point of heaven and earth, and that being buried in such places brings happiness after death. Therefore, people bury their deceased in sacred places whenever possible. The holy shrines of Imam Reza (AS) and his sister Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), due to their special sanctity, are the burial places of prominent individuals, especially religious scholars. The issue arises from the fact that due to the limited space and the exclusiveness of these places to a certain class, it raises the question of what kind of attitude pilgrims have towards the relatively exclusive burial of scholars near the shrines? In order to discover the meanings embedded in the minds of people who have experience of visiting the graves of scholars in the holy shrines, the author has examined their lived experience with a phenomenological approach by conducting semi-structured interviews and analyzing the themes contained in the responses. The results of the study show that, despite the initial assumption of the researcher, the positive themes of “special position and high personality”, “cultural authority and life model”, “having spiritual effects of graves”, “association of prior knowledge towards celebrities”, “impressive social services”, “spiritual care towards scholars”, “spirituality and mysticism of the buried”, “semantic affinity between scholars and Ahl al-Bayt” and finally “discrimination and disturbance” were evoked in the lived experience of the pilgrims. All the above organizing themes are categorized under the overarching theme of “positive view towards the burial of scholars in the Mashahed al-Musharrif.” The interviewees positively evaluated the burial of scholars and celebrities, provided that they avoided “discrimination” and did not cause “disturbance to pilgrims.”

Abstract The Alids have always been considered a political opposition group within the Abbasid rule. With the increase in protest movements during the era of Imam Reza (AS), the Abbasid caliph Ma’mun attempted, through a soft-power strategy, to both suppress these protest movements and eliminate the spirit of protest and uprising against usurping governments from society. Upon discerning this design, Imam Reza (AS) engaged in a three-pronged confrontation: to thwart the implementation of Ma’mun’s plan, to sustain the spirit of protest and uprising in society by introducing a standard model for protest movements, and also to identify deviant protest movements. This research essentially seeks to answer the question: How, and based on what propositions and components, did Imam Reza (AS) preserve and guide the protest movements endorsed by the Imamate current? To answer this question, it seems necessary first to enumerate the types of protest movements in the era of Imam Reza (AS) and then, in the second stage, answer the main question. The findings of this article, which are based on library research methods, historical sources, and data analysis, will categorize the typology of protest movements into four types: Government-seeking, Reform Movement, Deviation, and Method. Furthermore, Imam Reza (AS) endeavored to sustain the spirit of protest in society and transmit it to future generations of Shi’a by introducing the necessary components of the standard model for protest movements.

Abstract The structure and spatialization of cities, directly or indirectly, display the identity elements of the people of that city. Since change is the only constant thing in the city, preserving the cultural assets in a city is one of the fundamental challenges of the contemporary world; The identity of the people is based on the cultural assets left over from the past, and finding a middle way for the sustainable development of cities, along with preserving the identity indicators, has been the constant concern of researchers in this field. Among the social and cultural capitals of Iran is the personality of Imam Reza (AS), whose trip to Iran, as the greatest religious event in the history of Iran, has provided Iranians with a treasure of narratives; each of which, in addition to being considered as a cultural capital, have the ability to become a symbolic capital and create added value. The current research, using the descriptive-analytical method and using documentary and library sources, seeks to explain how it is possible to create symbolic capital in urban and rural spaces by using these cultural capitals and base the urban identity on this great social and cultural origin. It is possible to build a resilient identity and sustainable development of cities by relying on the capital capacity symbolized by the narratives surrounding Imam Reza (AS); A major part of this sustainable development can rely on religious tourism.

Abstract Mathew Lipman proposed the Applied Philosophy for Children program as an educational program in the early 1970s, and with his effort and thought, it gradually evolved, as the acceptance of children and teachers as its audience, caused the expansion of this program in the American society and Other European, African and Asian societies. Cultivating the power of thinking and reasoning in children is Lipman’s goal of the Fabak program to provide the ground for the cultivation of thoughtful, knowledgeable, goal-oriented, questioning and creative people. Stories are the tools of the Fabak program, which are written using the methods of this program to guide children and teenagers to the digging loop. Multidimensional thinking includes creative, caring, critical and collaborative thinking that Lipman and his colleagues have explained and defined to develop a questioning and challenging mind in the audience (children and teenagers). Narratives taken from the lives of religious ascetics have a valuable yield for localizing the types of thinking, the fields of concepts and philosophical and mental questions; Therefore, religious and religious narratives based on fantasy elements (wonderful and wonderful), selected characters and precious models can be a good standard in the implementation of the philosophy program for children. The current research has investigated the types of thinking in the collection of anecdotes “Be Like Imam Reza (AS)” by Hossein Mirzaei based on Lipman’s multidimensional thinking with a descriptive- analytical approach. The results of the research indicate that these anecdotes are a strong stimulus for philosophical exploration and have the necessary capacity to explain philosophical and mental concepts and questions, such as the exchange of ideas and intellectual and reasoning skills or critical and creative thinking are among the most important and prominent types of thinking in the group. The stories are “Be like Imam Reza (AS)”.

Abstract After Jesus (pbuh), deviations arose among his followers and with time heresies became stronger. One of these deviations was the belief in the divinity of Christ. The Quran has clearly rejected this question and the Sunnah has criticized this corrupt faith wherever it has had the opportunity. Including the debate of Imam Reza (AS) with the great Christians, whose report was of course documentary and substantively flawed. This research has documented the evidence used in the arguments of Imam Reza (AS) in Ahdin to strengthen this debate, demonstrate the high capacity of Islam against dissenters, and invalidate the divinity that preachers attempted to spread. The information of this research was collected according to the library method and the arguments of the debate in the three axes of worship, miracles and explanation of contradictions, and then documented in the covenants according to the people whose names were mentioned.

Abstract Critical discourse, in fact, is considered the formative process of discourse analysis, in which, by going beyond the mere description of linguistic data, attention is paid to the effective processes in the formation of discourse. In this type of discourse analysis, two social and linguistic approaches are discussed. In the social approach, discourse is explained as situational context, and in the linguistic approach, textual context is explained. The debates of Imam Reza (a.s.) are full of political, religious and social themes, which Imam (a.s.) has eloquently expressed in the various conditions of the time, to inform and guide people towards truth and justice. This research has analyzed the linguistic and structural interaction of Razavi’s debates with the atmosphere that dominates the society and the thoughts of the interlocutors. The results of this research indicate that Imam (a.s.) was able to create a close bond between the culture ruling the society and the intellectual deviation of the audience by using styles and words compatible with the atmosphere of the debate. His Holiness (PBUH) used words that had a deep meaning and in order to highlight the concepts in question, they used different linguistic connotations. Sometimes, with the use of questioning, he has somehow questioned the beliefs of the other party and challenged and marginalized his speech.

Abstract Islamic ethical system with its unique features has special foundations. Imam Reza (AS) believed that the ethical system of Quran is based around monotheism. Extracting and introducing the foundations of Islamic ethics from theoretical point of view and the practical life of Imam Reza (AS) is an asset that can be used to explain the comprehensiveness of Islamic ethical system on the basis of monotheism.
Using Izutsu’s conceptual analysis approach, we research about this important issue. To achieve this goal, four stages have been taken. First, recognizing faith in the view of Imam Reza (AS); second, quoting some sayings of Imam Reza (AS) in which the word “faith” was used and referring scattered symbols to this central concept; third, referring faith to monotheism by using conceptual analysis approach; fourth, in a detailed explanation, the two concepts of "two-dimensional man" and "two-dimensional universe" are identified by examining the identity of man and the world in the view of monotheism, and on the basis of central concept of monotheism, other concepts that can be the basis of morality are introduced in a new classification.

Abstract The theory of "Argumentation" serves as an aspect of discourse which aims at presenting an argument to bring about an internal influence within the addressees. The process is carried out through the utilization of linguistic elements in discourse. In the present era, one might use this new method of discourse analysis to open up a new way to the authentic heritage of Imam Reza (A.S). In line with the necessities of his time and along with purification of theological discussions, Imam Reza (A.S) adopted an argumentative discourse and a guidance-oriented approach to maximally use the reasoning potential of his addresses. In addition to the scientific explanation of the argumentation theory, the study at hand has set out to answer this question: According to Imam Reza (A.S)'s doctrine, which themes serve as the main axioms of the theological arguments? Regarding the research method, the study has employed a descriptive-analytical approach. Consequently, after specification of the conceptual boundaries of the term argumentation and similar terms such as polemic, sermon, argument and persuasion, the contemporary approaches to this theory are used to categorize the themes of Divine Oneness, Imamate, and Prophecy as the frequent themes of those traditions received from Imam Reza (A.S), based on argumentative discourse. In the eyes of the authors, the Imamate theme – as the most frequent theme in Imam Reza's (A.S) theological arguments – has not only been a necessity of the time, but also an indication of a necessity in Shi'a school and Imam Reza's (A.S) cultural advice on the necessity of equipping the Shi'a with different means to prove the principle of Imamate. In other words, as a result of using this discursive style, the concept of the Imamate of the Prophet's Family (A.S) – as one of the main issues of the Muslim society and the essence of Shi'a school – receives more attention.

Abstract
Human being is a creature who inherently identifies him/herself as a creature with dignity and thus seeks the respect of others. Preserving this dignity as a natural right, has been the basis for religious ides and courses and some human laws such as universal declaration of human rights. This right has constantly been among the needs and desires of human beings and depriving from it hinders humans from growth and perfection. In other words, dignity plays a fundamental role in change, evolution and perfection of human beings and the society.
A large number of Hadith from Imam Reza (AS) as well as his life style and manners indicate that how elements of dignity help the human beings to fulfill their prime. The main question, then, is that from Imam Reza (AS) point of view how this role is played.
Studies show that Imam considers a basic fundamental role for the components of human dignity including devotion, rationality, seeking freedom and justice and gratitude as any of them affect human perfection in different levels.
The first level, devotion, leads to the comprehension of God where the foundation of such cognition, is to believe in God's unity. Rationality, both in theory and practice, brings a perception of the truth and observing that truth in humans' deeds. Freedom seeking prevents inaction and indolence in various aspects of life: individual, social, political, etc. Righteousness and seeking justice results in not committing acts such as corruption, lying, and bribery. Lastly, true gratitude is achievable through taking certain steps like faith, believe in God's unity, and serving people.
There are many components to human dignity all of which we are unable to explain in this article. With an analytical-descriptive method, this document surveys only a number of these components in Islamic Opinion and then traces and elucidates their impacts on human perfection from the point of view of Imam Reza (AS).

Elahe Hadian Rasanani

Abstract   The Holy Quran describes different discourse techniques and introduces 3 techniques namely wise reasoning, good preaching and the best contention as the Prophet’s (PBUH) techniques for invitation to Islam. Meanwhile, in logics, five reasoning or discourse techniques have been proposed in accordance with the purposes of discussions, the techniques include contention, demonstration, rhetoric, fallacy and poem. The Qur’anic discourse techniques are different from the logical discourse techniques and the five techniques of reasoning in terms of principles and ends. In the present article, attempts are made to investigate these differences and to answer this fundamental question:  Is it possible to consider the Qur’anic discourse techniques consistent with the techniques of logical reasoning? With careful consideration of the two techniques’ characteristics and the close investigation of the Imams (AS) debates including the debates of Imam Reza (AS) which are based on the Qur’anic discourse techniques, it becomes clear that the most important difference between the two techniques is associated with their goals, in other words, The Qur’anic discourse techniques aim to guiding the audience, on the contrary, the Five Techniques of reasoning aim to pacify the audience. Careful study of the Imam Reza (AS) debates, and their reliance on solid and logical foundations as well as Qur’anic discourse techniques suggest that the statements of Imam Reza (AS) just like the statements of his fathers, can be used, in terms of method and content, to answer the corresponding questions and doubts not only in that historical period, but at all times.

Abstract The hyperboles characters and their thought have been challengeable and problematic debates between the Muslims consistently. Hyperboles debates is subset of Shiite Imams studies and because of this reason, they encounter to it and reckon it disagreeable at their talks and their behaviors .
