Abstract One of the fundamental duties of Islam is enjoining good and forbidding evil. The appearance of some narrative evidence indicates the necessity of this obligation. On the other hand, there are narrations that list the limitations for the establishment of obligation. Zahir, one of the narrations transmitted by Imam Reza (a.s.) is a guide to the unworthiness of giving advice because it is unfortunate for the audience. This essay is based on a descriptive-analytical method in order to assess the correlation of this hadith with the guiding evidences on the duty of commanding what is good and forbidding what is bad. In order to achieve this goal, the possible reasons for the Imam's refusal to give advice have been highlighted and criticized as follows: the advice is seditious, it is not effective in the audience, the advice is instructive, and the obnoxious action in question is not included in the level of negation. In the last step, with the benefit of the significance analysis of the evidences showing the conditions for the obligation of this obligation in the field of being effective, as well as the guiding traditions on the conditions of effective advice, the selected point of view has been organized. The evaluation of the research is that relying on some historical documents and jurisprudential evidences, it is necessary that the narration is related to things that there is certainty about the ineffectiveness of admonition.

Abstract One of the fields of guidance of Imam Reza (as) is the explanation and interpretation of the divine verses. Among the precious legacy of hadith left by that infallible Imam (as), there is a hadith in the interpretation of verse 125 of Surah Anʿām. Shia scholars have placed this hadith among the hadiths entitled “Akhbār man Balāgh”, and other scholars have cited this hadith in fundamental fields. This research is based on a descriptive-analytical method and using library sources in order to measure the correlation of this hadith with the rule known as tolerance in the evidence of traditions. For this purpose, first of all, the validity of the document of this hadith has been analyzed. In the next step, the significance of this hadith on the principled approach to the rule of tolerance in non-mandatory rulings has been explained and criticized. Then, other scholars’ perception of this narrative has been examined in a theological approach. The chosen approach of the writing is that the above-mentioned hadith is the expression of Allah’s special guidance to the servants who have accepted the formative and legislative guidance. In this case, divine guidance makes them successful in understanding and accepting the teachings of religion and expands their intellectual horizon and practical sphere. In other words, the verbal interpretation of some of this hadith is only one of the examples of creating peace of mind when doubting whether the authentic hadith is true.

Abstract The first step to respond to doubts is to know the methods of doubting the opponents. One of the methods of skepticism of the opponents of Shia doctrines is to refer to Imami hadith sources. Dr. Nasser Ghafari, the author of the book Uṣūl Madhhab Shiʾa, Naghdun wa ʾArḍun (Religious Principles of the Shiite, Criticism and Commentary) has also benefited from this method. Using library sources and using the analytical descriptive method, this article seeks to find the methods of Ghafari's skepticism on those Shia doctrines that are documented in the book ʾUyun Akhbār al-Riḍā (as). For this purpose, all his references to this book have been checked from the methodology perspective. The result of the research is that his doubts has a methodological evaluation in three categories: the possibility of conflict between hadiths, the possibility of hadith conflict with Qurʿan and fallacy. Things like fragmenting the text, improper understanding of words, not paying attention to the hadith family, and exaggerating the problems of the hadith are included in the first category. Also, misunderstanding of Quranic concepts and fragmenting the texts of hadith has caused the possibility of conflict between hadiths and Qurʾan. In the field of fallacies, cases such as exclusivity, lexical fallacies, as well as the fallacy of extraneous reason, three frequent types are evaluated in Ghafari's method of skepticism.

Abstract Answering suspicions requires knowing and applying skills, some of which are called scientific competencies. This article is organized in a descriptive analytical way and seeks to find scientific methods to answer the suspicions in Razavi's biography. By paying attention to the biography of the eighth Imam of the Shiites, it can be seen that these abilities are methodically divided into two categories: intellectual and narrative. According to the findings of this article, some of the methods that Imam Riḍā (as) used to respond to suspicions are:
Citing the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah, attention to the origins and causes of suspicion, benefit from the arguments of rationality, argument of success and patience and division, methodological development, canceling the false requirements of suspicion, citing ideas accepted by the audience, sensitization of the rational, correct explanation of skeptical concepts and ideas and taking advantage of the correct history.
